FAQs

+ How do I reserve a class?

In order to place a reservation, you must first buy a class, class package or membership. To do so, simply sign up for an account and create a username and password. Once that's done, click “login” and make your purchase! You may also purchase classes at the studio. Expiration dates and prices for single classes and class packages are subject to change.

+ Can I reserve a specific bike?

No, as of now, when you reserve a spot in the class you are purely in the class. All bikes are first come, first serve. No exceptions.

+ Are there any studio rules to be aware of during class?

Yes! Cell phones are not permitted to be used during a class for any reason. We ask that you leave your phone in a secured locker or cubbie outside of the studio. We hope you can disconnect for 45 minutes! Instructors reserve the right to turn off your phone if it goes off as it’s distracting not only to them, but also to the class.

Also, any cross-talk between riders during class or inappropriate language is also not permitted. Please be respectful of the other riders, the instructor, and the environment we’ve created at BoostCycle Indoor Cycling Studio.

+ Are there classes for different experience levels?

At BoostCycle, we do not have classes for different experience levels. First time riders through expert riders can ride in any class but are expected to adjust to their comfort level and ride at their own pace until they become more comfortable and build up strength and endurance.

+ Is there a minimum age requirement to ride a class?

As this is an intense cardio workout, the minimum required age of a rider is 15 years old. A parent/guardian must accompany the minor to first class to sign off on paperwork and acknowledge their child is capable of riding a class. For any exceptions, please contact the studio.

+ What is your cancellation policy?

As a courtesy to other riders and our BoostCycle instructors, you must cancel a class 6 hours before the scheduled class in order to avoid penalty. If you haven't cancelled within 6 hours of your class, you will forfeit one credit or, if you hold an unlimited membership, you will be charged a $15 late cancel fee. If you hold an unlimited membership and don't arrive or cancel prior to class time, resulting in No Show, you will be charged the full class amount of $25. No Exceptions. Please note that arriving after the scheduled class time will be cause for a No Show charge. You must cancel class online to ensure immediate cancellation of your class, not by calling the studio. Thank you for understanding!

+ Do I qualify for the BoostCycle new rider package?

If you have never ridden at BoostCycle before, you qualify for our new rider package of 3 rides for $30! These classes have a 2 week expiration.

+ How early should I arrive before a class?

BoostCycle studio doors open 30 minutes before the scheduled class start time. For your first class please arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can show you around the studio, set you up properly on the bike and introduce you to the instructor. For every other class, please arrive at least 10 minutes early to make sure class starts on time and you're not lost in the dark. Also, please note that if it's a sold-out class, you must be checked-in at the official start of class. We strive to start classes on time out of respect for the other clients in the class so if you are not in the studio prior to 5 minutes before class, you run the risk of losing your reservation for the class. No riders will be admitted after the scheduled start time for the class and late riders will be subject to late cancel and/or no show policy charges.

+ What should I wear? Do I need special shoes?

We recommend wearing a tank top or t-shirt and comfortable leggings (non-flare or bell bottom) or shorts. All of our bikes only have pedals for SPD clip in shoes. If you do not have them, we do rent them out for $2 per pair. Once BoostCycle becomes an addiction to you, we recommend the purchase of indoor cycling shoes as it helps to make your ride as comfortable as possible.

+ What happens if my package expires? Can I extend my package?

10 pack and 20 pack classes have a 90 day expiration from date of purchase. Our package extension policy allows for a 30-day extension for a $25 fee. If you need to extend your package due to a medical reason, we can happily accommodate you! Please note, for medical extensions, a doctor's note is required.

+ Does BoostCycle have showers and childcare?

Yes, showers are available in both the women's and men's locker rooms. For your comfort and convenience we provide both women’s and men’s restrooms fully equipped with showers, complimentary towels and toiletries. Please feel free to bring your own lock to secure your belongings.

At this time, we do not offer childcare and do not permit minors to be left unaccompanied in the studio or lobby during class times.

+ What if I have to leave class early?

We understand that there are classes that clients may have to leave a few minutes prior to the end of class. However, if you need to leave early, please alert the class instructor to ensure we don’t worry if/when you leave the studio. Also, prior to leaving, please be sure to still wipe down your bike with the sanitation wipes provided in the studio. Please be sure you to leave through the studio door closest to the back of the studio as to not disrupt the class and your fellow students to ensure your early departure is as least disruptive as possible.

+ What is the policy on inclement weather and snow days/delayed openings?

We will very rarely cancel classes or close the studio. But if we must, we will at least one hours notice prior to scheduled class time! Please be diligent and check the website or MINDBODY schedule, as well as Facebook and Instagram for studio closing or class cancellation updates. To get updates directly sent to you, be sure to have your notifications turned on in your MINDBODY account or else you will not be notified about your specific class updates.
